Childhood Memories

If you can recognise a place by just the railing and trees in the background of a tiny photograph you know you've been there either too many times or it's an important place to you. Especially if it's not school, work or home.
This is one of my favourite pictures of my childhood and yes I can recognise the place because I have definately been there far too many times and it's also quite a memorable place for me. Clitheroe Castle long before they chopped all the trees down.

Wild Birds at Home

I've been to the second hand bookshop again, I bought this lovely little book about birds. I was first attracted by the cover (above) because the illustration is so pretty. I'm quite a fan of birds and well any animal really and I when I saw the photos inside I thought, wow these are lovely. So I have chosen a few to share:
